Bridal Trial Prep Guide
This appointment is our time to connect, plan your dream bridal look, and bring your vision to life so your wedding day runs seamlessly and feels completely “you.”
Here are a few things to help you prepare for your appointment:
- Wear a white or light-colored top to help visualize your bridal makeup look more
accurately in photos and lighting.
- Please arrive with your skincare done and your skin clean and well moisturized.
- If you’re planning on getting a spray tan (highly recommended for that bridal glow), try to schedule your trial during the same week as your tan so we can match your wedding-day look as closely as possible.
- Any facial hair grooming or brow maintenance should be completed before your appointment.
- Hydrate well leading up to your trial - hydrated skin always helps makeup apply beautifully.
- Avoid aggressive exfoliation or new skincare treatments in the 24-48 hrs before your appointment.
- Bring inspiration photos! These can be photos of my work or any looks you’ve found that inspire you.
Bridal trials are meant for us to brainstorm, perfect your bridal glam, and ensure we fully understand the look you want before your wedding day. Treat this day like a “dress rehearsal” for your big day!
A few studio notes:
- Please do not bring an entourage, as my home studio is quite small.
- Please arrive on time. Parking is limited since my home studio is located in a cul-
de-sac. Feel free to park anywhere in the cul-de-sac or directly behind my car.
